Research Experience and Interests

Postdoc :

  • Setup, perform and analyze cosmological hydrodynamical simulations of large-scale structures to study formation and evolution of galaxies, circumgalactic medium, intergalactic medium; emphasizing on gas outflows, inflows, and chemical enrichment.

  • Implement new sub-resolution models of baryonic feedback (SN-driven wind and AGN feedback) for cosmological galaxy simulations.

  • Hydrodynamical studies of black hole accretion, resulting feedback, and outflows.

  • Anisotropic AGN outflows and their cosmological impact.

  • Metallicity distribution in the intracluster medium of galaxy clusters.

  • Cosmological simulations of radio galaxy impact on their environment.

  • Fate of dwarf galaxies in galaxy clusters w.r.t. the impact on the intra-cluster light.

In Graduate School :

  • Radio Galaxies - modeling their power evolution over cosmological scales.

  • Accretion processes around Kerr black holes.

  • Spectroscopic analysis of Algol binary stars.

For details of each project see my Graduate Research Page, and the Publications Page.

In Undergraduate Program :

  • Study of telescope aberrations and related image processing.
Vacation Students’ Programme - 2001, IUCAA.

  • Introductory studies on general Theory of Relativity and its applications in cosmology.

For details of each project see my Undergraduate Work Page .
