Research Experience and Interests
Postdoc :
- Setup, perform and analyze cosmological hydrodynamical simulations
of large-scale structures to study
formation and evolution of galaxies, circumgalactic medium, intergalactic medium;
emphasizing on gas outflows, inflows, and chemical enrichment.
- Implement new sub-resolution models of baryonic feedback
(SN-driven wind and AGN feedback) for cosmological galaxy simulations.
- Hydrodynamical studies of black hole accretion, resulting feedback, and outflows.
- Anisotropic AGN outflows and their cosmological impact.
- Metallicity distribution in the intracluster medium of galaxy clusters.
- Cosmological simulations of radio galaxy impact on their environment.
- Fate of dwarf galaxies in galaxy clusters w.r.t. the impact on the intra-cluster light.
In Graduate School :
- Radio Galaxies - modeling their power evolution over cosmological scales.
- Accretion processes around Kerr black holes.
- Spectroscopic analysis of Algol binary stars.
