I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste.

My principal interests are:

• clusters of galaxies
• Warm-Hot Intergalactic Medium (WHIM)
• large-scale structure of the universe

• the dark matter profiles of clusters of galaxies using X-ray data from the XMM and Chandra satellites.
• the detection of the WHIM - a local (z<1) warm-hot gas phase predicted to be present in the cosmic web - with X-ray grating observations on bright AGNs
