Here are the files you have to download and decompress in the same directory to run GRASIL.
A short and schematic manual to run GRASIL is here.
NOTE: sometimes due to incompatibilities between windows created ascii files then used with linux, carriage-return symbols are created in the ascii files in gslib.tar.gz or gslib.zip for pc linux. In this case do e.g.
> dos2unix mod_name.par
and similar with the other input files, in order to eliminate those symbols.
For PC-Windows:
For PC-linux Unix:
After decompression, give
the command "grasil examplel" in the same directory (on UNIX you will
need to give before "chmod +x grasil"). If everything is OK, GRASIL
will run the model described in the input files examplel.par and examplel.sf.
On a reasonable present day CPU, it will require no more than 100-200 sec to
produce several other examplel.* files with SEDs.
Recall that GRASIL can be
run in any other directory giving the full path of the executable. Of course it
requires input files .par and .sf in the working directory.
You will need also the program CHE_EVO to generate input .sf files.
