Abstract:
It is well known that galaxy properties correlate with the local
environment in which galaxies reside. In contrast, it is still matter
of debate why and when these environmental dependences originate, and
whether only one "main" property depends on environment, thus driving
all the others environmental dependences via the correlations among
properties themselves. In this context, I will present some results
about the colour-density relation and the role played by stellar mass,
as found in large and deep redshift surveys such as VVDS, zCOSMOS and
DEEP2.
