Abstract:
I summarize the status and most recent results on the search for
extrasolar planets. I then present the results of the on-going project at
INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova for the study of planets in binary
systems and the perspectives due to new instrumentation dedicated to the
search and characterization of extrasolar planets to which we are working.
