Abstract:
In this talk I will present recently obtained results on the interplay between galaxy evolution and group environment using the new zCosmos group catalogue. This catalogue reaches up to z ~ 1 and contains ~ 800 spectroscopically confirmed groups. It is a unique sample both in redshift coverage and in richness. We are able to trace in detail, up to z~ 1, the important role that group environment plays in shaping galaxy evolution, as revealed by galaxy colors, spectro-photometric properties, masses.
