Abstract:
One of the key elements for the explanation of Matter Antimatter Asymmetry is CP violation,
which has been experimentally established since many decades.
The amount of CP violation in the Standard Model of particle physics is however not sufficient
to explain the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe.
A review of CP violation in the Standard Model and beyond, together with a comparison with the
experimental data, is presented and discussed.
