Title:
X-ray spectral features from relativistic accretion discs in AGN
***********************************************************
Abstract:
X-ray spectral features from relativistic accretion discs
are very important tools to test General Relativity, to study the
accretion flows in AGN (and GBH systems) and to estimate the two
parameters characterising a Black Hole, namely its mass
and angular momentum. I will show how GR and kinematic
effects modify the properties of the emission close
to the Black Hole, and discuss the observational
present status (including recently found evidence f
or orbiting spots) and future perspectives.
