Title: The gas content of dark matter halos as seen by Planck

Abstract Scaling relations between the physical and observable properties of galaxy halos, groups and clusters are fundamental for understanding
their formation and for using them to constrain cosmological
parameters. I will use a new, very large simulation to explore how
correlated scatter in scaling relations can affect inferences from
large cluster samples, focussing specifically on discrepancies which
have arisen in recent Planck studies of clusters. In addition, I will
present new Planck data on the baryon content of dark halos which
extend previous studies down to halo mases similar to that of M31.
