Abstract: The most important information in Stellar Astrophysics is obtained from the spectral analysis of the stars. A detailed spectral analysis performed on high quality spectra allows us to obtain the atmosphere parameters of a star, effective temperature and surface gravity, as well as its chemical composition. These results can then be used in stellar evolution studies. Recently, we have performed the abundance analysis of some stars from spectra observed at a resolving power of R = 40000, obtained with the Coudé Echelle Spectrograph of the 1.50-m telescope of the TÜBİTAK National Observatory near Antalya in the south of Turkey. We optimized the S/N of the 1-d spectra by taking multiple bias, flat, and stellar exposures. Here I will show how the chemical abundance analysis was performed for a few individual stars using the equivalent width method, and I will discuss the results.
